Dear Cold,

Pardon the interruption, but I am done with you. Please take your friends Fever, Body Aches, Cough, Sore Throat, Runny Nose and Achy Ears and leave promptly. My life must get back to normal! I cannot miss any more work, and I can NOT spend another minute cooped up in this house. I have no course of action planned against you beyond small doses of tylenol and yet another round of ammoxicillin, so please take pity on me. Pack your bags and be gone by morning. That way, I can finally get some sleep in a position other than sitting completely upright before real life summons me tomorrow at 2pm when I am scheduled to report for work.
