First thought...
So I just got done reading an article on Yahoo....the 20 worst foods in America. It was very enlightening...and depressing! I love Chili's and there were quite a few items from their menu on the list! I hate it when that happens! We haven't been there for months, but next time we go, I will definitely have to pay more attention to what I'm eating! Sheesh!
Next thought...
I received a phone call late last night from the elders in our stake that are assigned to the Spanish-speaking branch. They wanted to know if I was available to go visit an investigator that attends the Spanish-speaking ward, but lives in my ward boundaries. She has a daughter that is 12 and I am the Beehive leader, so I guess that is why the ward mission leader gave my name to the elders. I was definitely hesitant, since I have not been present for any kind of missionary discussion in a long time...however, I called the nice elder back and told him I would be there. I had the day off work, so I figured, why not. When I met the elders, I was nervous, but it was completely awesome. These guys were speaking Spanish like they had grown up speaking it (I learned later that they had not) and despite not being able to understand a thing that was going on (I did however figure out they were talkng about baptism and the Waters of Mormon) I was totally loving it! All I could think about was Brian in the Phillipines teaching people in a different language and seeing the light of the gospel in their eyes. It sounds silly, but there was seriously something in this woman's face that just lit up the room. I didn't meet the daughter that is 12 (she was too shy to come downstairs) but now that I know her mom it will be so much easier to just stop by and say hi to that young woman. Thanks to the elders! I hope they call me back to go again (even though I require a translator of my own).
Last thought...
I think it must be the cold weather, but I am totally in a casserole mood. I just love something warm and yummy, so if you have a great recipe, let me know!

Yay for missionaries! I'm glad you went. I went out with the siters once and had a great experience. None of their appointments were home, but we met a family who let us in. I definately have more respect for missionaries after that experience.
I always thought missionaries were brave, but this was so much more than just courage because they were so comfortable doing what they do! I was totally in awe!
